About Banking Registry
Financial product research without the black box.
Product terms are scattered across pricing tables, disclosures, partner pages, and application flows. Banking Registry turns those sources into a structured, inspectable public record.
What exists today
A deliberately small, verified catalog.
The current catalog publishes 5 products across 5 institutions, chosen to prove issuer relationships, consumer and business products, introductory APRs, balance-transfer fees, credit-union membership routes, and explicit unknown states end to end.
Coverage expands only through the same evidence-backed pipeline: regulated institution identities first, then well-sourced credit-card products, then deep behavioral coverage for priority cards, then community observations with privacy-preserving aggregates.
The aim is DepositAccounts' institution depth, WalletHub's filters, CreditOdds' outcomes, and myFICO's observation richness — with a transparent evidence and history layer none of them combine.
Principles
What the registry will and will not do.
Source first
Every displayed external fact traces to captured, hash-archived evidence with a verification date.
Unknown means unknown
Missing terms remain visible gaps instead of invented values. A null carries its reason.
Issuer-aware
The bank you recognize, the company that issues the card, and the program that runs it are modeled separately.
Built to compare
Rates, fees, timelines, and eligibility are typed facts, so filters and comparisons are exact.
Observed ≠ official
Bureau pulls, limits, and reconsideration outcomes are dated observations, labeled as such.
Independent
No affiliate placement, no paid ordering. The registry is research, not a lender or application service.
Disclosure
Banking Registry is independent research. It is not a bank, lender, broker, credit-repair service, or application service, and it does not provide financial advice. Terms change; confirm with the issuer before applying. Observed outcomes reflect self-selected reports and are not a random sample of applicants.
